Halloween...

Yesterday was Halloween, and I had some fun with my glimmermists, glaze and High Pigment from Tattered Angels earlier this week... (warning, there is a lot of pictures in this post) And if you follow down you will get a "small" step by step.

I made 4 small give away gifts and two tags, all at the same time..

The tags are made from the left overs on my messy sheet when I was done with the small gifts..

I started out with the mists, paint and glaze that I wanted to use.. and some tattered leather papers...

Cut the paper into four 6" x 6" and misted them with lots and lots of water..

Then I tapped on the different mists and glaze... and some more water... (so you need a paper that can handle all that water and misting.. )

Because this was for Halloween I needed lots and lots of orange.. so I used a heavy coat of that...

A bit more black (dropps) and turn and swirls the sheet as I dry..

When a little more dry I add lots of drops of glaze (without more water) and dry them right away..

Before it is all dryed I roll it up and dry in shape...

Then I use med glue gun to glue togheter..

Close one end, add candy and close other end...

Now on to my decorations on this ones.. Left over papers and som High Pigment paint in brown and black and some glimmer mists to add some life..

just look at that effect..

Now it is time to clean my craft sheet..

Mist the sheet with water and use one, two or more tags to clean it up..

Just look at that jummy effect..

From the paper I painted I cut out different kinds of diecuts.. just what I have and what I want..

And it was a lot...

And just add to the gifts and tags... simple as that ... all done..

Hope you got some inspiration..

(PS, can`t wait to do a Christmas variation of this)

Decorated matchbox`s

Hey everone

I am loving all those small project this days.. and today I want to show you a little matcboxdecoation (holding two matchboxes).. This is a project I did for the Norwegian store Scrapomania

I hade some paper leftover so I could not let that go to waste..

I used two dies for this project, one is from La-la Land and the other (leafs) are from Memory Box

To start I used some light modeling paste mixed with bundle sage distress ink, took it on with a stencil by Tim Holtz and added some glitter to it..  the red dots are a little contribution from my little princess that wanted to help her mom..

Then I just started to place my die, flowers and everything else..

In the end I added the feathers, just because I felt it missed something..

Håper du fant litt inspirasjon

Hope you found some inspiration

Two simple tags

Hello everyone

Today I would love to show you two very easy tags made with the same things...

(for this post in Norwegian plz follow this link)

I start out with two manilla tags, three different Distress inks and a stencil

I have used the same inks and stencil for both tags, just with a little twist..

For this first one I used ink directly from the pad first, before I misted water on the stencil.. then I dryed before I added some more ink, I used an ink appliktor to help blend... and done.. so easy...

The second one I used ink over the stencil in the beginning of the tag making..

I used ink from an ink applikator to apply the distress, starting from the edge. Then I sprayed some water, dryed that and added my little friends.

Hope you found some ispiration

Glimmer Mist and Gelatos tags

Hey everyone

Today I have a video for you all that I made for Canvas Corp brands using Glimmer Mists...

I made two different tags using the same mists.... so fun to see how different they are..

And right below her you can see the video, with a few more detaild pictures further down

I do love the silvery finish on this firt tag, it is both light and dark... and I love it...

You got to love some beads...

one of my favourite things to do is to color flowers using glimmer mist dazzling diamonds and pearl togheter with distress inks..

The second tag is more stron in color and that is because of the crackle paint... love that effect..

Again with the coloring of the flowers and in the end I added some stars..

Just look how amazing the crackle paint is up close.... so jummy...

I do hope you found some inspiration to play on your own tags, cards, LO or other..

Two tags and a candycard

Hey everyone..

Yesterday I got this amazing stencil from Tim Holtz in my snail mail, and wow this is really a wonderful stencil to play with..

I have used distress Chipped Sapphire on both tags as a base..

For this tag I started with the distress around the edges and into the tag, then I stamped some snowflakes and the text .. Next step was the amazing glimmer mist dazzling diamonds... perfect to any project and an absolute must in every scraproom.

Then I added some gel medium with the stencil, glitter on top of that and let it dry..

For my second tag I used the same stencil, distress and glimmer mist

I used the distress with the stencil, then around the edges and into the tag before I misted with glimmer mist...  and so simple, background done.. Then I just added some diecuts and simple and easy I am done..

Now I would like to show you how fun glimmermist can be on tattered paper, this one is called quotes...

The inside of this little box has a bit of candy , chocolate, and the text angelcandy

Now on to the tattered paper... I mist a lot of tattered leather on the paper and dry with a heat gun.

On the box I just splatter some of the same mist

and as simple as that I have a unique background

with a few stars and my text my box suddenly have a new life.. and I just love it..

as you se I let the mist run to the edges as I dryed it.. love that effect..
